Zanybrainy is a national retailer of safe and eductaional toys for children with over $250 million in annual revenue and retail locations throughout the US.
The Challenge
Zanybrainy was interested in overhauling and improving their existing ecommerce presence, extending the site's capabilities and enhancing its usability.
The challenge was to revise, rearchitect, and implement the aforementioned solutions in under three months without fundamentally altering the sites existing template structure.
The Solution
By implementing a version of the Gateway Ecommerce Model (GAM), ZanyBrainy gained a level of abstraction that greatly enhanced its ability to merchandise and sell products as well as a far more usable and customercentric navigational model.
These major changes, along with a variety of usability improvements, greatly improved the user experience and functionality of the site.
More Information
Zanybrainy was originally built for Online Retail Partners, and has since been modified. Nodal PT principal Rick Tilghman served as chief information architect for the ZanyBrainy v2.0 engagement, overseeing all usability, navigation, and interface architecture.
